Graduation Requirements
PROGRAM OF STUDY - SELECTING & STUDYING A 'MAJOR'
A
Program of Study (i PDF)
is strongly encouraged for ALL students so that they are utilizing their high school experience to better prepare them for their post secondary studies.
Classes at TUSD may directly or indirectly prepare them for their careers. Students should take advantage of the many things TUSD has available as either a hobby or as a class that prepares them for their career.
Graduation requirements are MINIMAL Requirements to exit high school, but in most cases DOES NOT prepare individual students for college or their careers. Some students walk away with college credit under their belt by taking advantage of AP courses available in TUSD.
PROGRAM OF STUDY EXAMPLE (in PDF) (Hat tip: THMS)
Above is a sample Program of Study. Any student may stop in or set up an appointment to discuss their skill sets, aptitude, GPA, and interests to determine the best Career Path and receive a Individual Program of Study so they maximize their time in TUSD. Please see your CTE College & Career Readiness Counselor for more information.
