Become a Volunteer Reading Coach

Reading Seed LogoReading Seed Children's Literacy Program recruits, trains and places volunteer reading coaches in more than 50 TUSD Elementary Schools (and throughout Pima County). Volunteers spend just one hour per week working one-on-one with children in 1st, 2nd, or 3rd grade who are reading below grade level. The coach's job is to make reading fun and interesting, helping students move towards becoming independent readers who are excited about learning!
