W2 Update from Payroll

  • W2s are posted to the Employee Self-Service portal for active employees.
  • W2s that are returned to Payroll due to an incorrect address will need to be picked up in the Payroll Department located at 1010 E. 10th Street; photo ID will be required for the W2 to be released.
  • Payroll will start taking inquiries regarding returned W2s or reprints on 02/19/18; there is a charge of $2.00 for each reprint.

Information on raises for the 2017-2018 school year

At the Dec. 13, 2016 board meeting, the Tucson Unified School District Governing Board approved employee raises for the 2017-2018 school year. Employees will see the raise next school year when they will be advanced one step on their assigned salary schedule. Classified employees can expect a 1% raise through their step increase. This increase may be in addition to any pay increase and/or step increase subsequently agreed to during further negotiations for the 2017-2018 school year.More

301 Pay for Performance Plan amendment: Important information for former eligible employees

If you worked for Tucson Unified School District during the 2012-2013, 2013-2014, 2014-2015 or 2015-2016 school years and were eligible for a Fund 12 payment under the applicable 301 Pay for Performance Plan, then you can now be hired and placed into a classroom teacher position, subject to district hiring policies and procedures, and you can participate in the 301 Pay for Performance Plan for 2016-2017.

Dual Language Incentive for the 2017-2018 School Year

Tucson Unified School District will pay a Dual-Language Recruitment and Retention Incentive Stipend of $5000 that will be available to new-to-the-District incoming certified teachers and to certified teachers who currently work for the District that meet the following criteria:
  • The teacher must work for the District in a dual-language classroom and attend the required two-way dual language professional development during the school year.
  • The teacher must have a Teaching Certificate with Spanish bilingual endorsement from the Arizona Department of Education.

The stipend will be prorated based on the hiring date. Qualified recipients will receive the first half in December and the second half in May.

Note: Due to Rodeo Day Holiday, the Human Resources office will close at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 21. Fingerprint Service will conclude at 3:30 p.m. on this day.

Please do not use an older version, as it does not have the same fields and information. There is also an FAQ on the second page of the form to help answer some of your questions about separating from the District.
