**The Math, Science, Special Ed, and Magnet stipends are one-time hiring incentives, paid to teachers in those subject areas or at magnet schools who are new to the district. These stipends are paid in two parts: The first half is paid upon completion of the fall semester in December and the second half is paid out upon completion of the spring semester in May.
The Dual Language stipend is a recruitment and retention stipend. The amount is determined by the number of Dual Language classes a teacher is teaching, with the maximum amount being $5,000. This stipend is paid out on the same schedule (end of fall semester, and end of spring semester) as the other stipends.
