Congratulations to the three Tucson Unified seniors named 2024 Flinn Scholars: Jared Matheson (University High School), Jennifer Orozco Torres (University High School) and Leanna Mia Payan Delgado (Pueblo High School)! Each Flinn Scholar receives a full-ride scholarship to the in-state university of their choice, including tuition, fees, housing, meals and at least two study abroad experiences!
 

Two Pueblo High School seniors are recipients of scholarships from the Victoria Teresa Arias Foundation! Seth Arroyo is this year's Tori Scholar and will receive $4,000 towards tuition at the University of Arizona, where he will study physiology. Antonia Calvillo is the Nueva Estrella Scholarship awardee, which is renewable for $10,000 a year for four years at UA, where she plans to major in biomedical sciences. Pistor Middle School was recognized with the American Student Council Association (ASCA) Student Council School of Excellence Award! Pistor is one of only 30 schools nationwide that earned this prestigious award. Read more about the student council's projects.
