    What Makes Us Special
Borman is located at Davis-Monthan Air Force Base and serves military families. Teachers closely track comprehension and have cross-grade partnerships to ensure students are learning what they need for their grade levels and are ready for the next.

Beginning with the 2016-2017 school year, Borman Elementary is expanding into a K-8 campus. The school has added sixth grade for the 2016-2017 school year. Seventh grade will be added in the 2017-2018 school year and eighth grade in the 2018-2019 school year.

Serving the military community provides for some special moments: Parents are known to surprise their kids by showing up in class right after returning from overseas deployment.

    • Borman is the only TUSD school on a military base.

    • Most Borman students walk or ride their bikes to school.
