Family Engagement Survey / Encuesta de Participación Familiar

Parents and guardians, we need your input!

TUSD Schools are always looking to find new and better ways to help our families to be involved in their children’s education.  Below is a link to a survey about your experiences with your child’s school.  If you have not already done so, please take a few moments to complete this survey.  If you have children at more than one school, please complete the survey for each of your children’s schools.  Schools  will use this information to help them plan for future family engagement opportunities.  Your responses will remain confidential.

Thank you for your help!

Family Engagement

Family engagement in schools means families and school staff working together to support and improve the learning, development, and health of students. This relationship reinforces children 's health, development, and learning at home, in school, and in the community.

Family involvement leads to greater student success -- including better attendance, fewer missed assignments, improved behavior, better grades, improved test scores, and a greater chance of graduating high school and going on to college. No matter the income, background, or level of education, students whose families are involved do better in school.

Family engagement does not mean you have to spend endless hours volunteering at school, running the PTA, or donating to every fundraiser. There are many ways to be meaningfully involved in your child 's education. This page provides information and resources to help you help your child achieve greater success in schools.
