  • English Language Acquisition for Adults (ELAA): Presented by Literacy Connects

    This class is offered to any adult with a desire to learn and improve their English. Students may choose from beginning, high beginning, and intermediate level classes.

  • GED Preparation Class: Presented by Literacy Connects

    Prepare for your GED by improving your reading, writing, math, and thinking skills. Ages 21 and over.

  • Cooking Healthy: Presented by The Community Food Bank of Southern Arizona

    Parent volunteers will demonstrate how to cook nutritious meals using ingredients from the Family Resource Center’s food pantry. Participants will also learn how to make easy low-cost meals. Please click on the link to register. https://bit.ly/3bZZOM0

  • Stepping Stones: Presented by The U of A Cooperative Extension

    Child behavior management for families with children with Autism. The series provides community as well as a specialized set of skills for parents to properly identify behavior problems and challenge their children to reach milestones using the Triple P (Positive Parenting Program) curriculum.

  • Positive Discipline: Presented by The U of A Cooperative Extension

    This program focuses on using kindness, firmness, dignity, and respect. After this workshop you will be empowered with skills to reduce problematic behaviors while strengthening your child's life skills.

  • Writing, A Life Skill: Presented by Author and Teacher Kit McIlroy

    Writing doesn’t have to scare us. Writing is a way to know our own lives better, and to help our children learn important skills. Explore what writing can do for you and your children. Join us or a fun & interactive time. Participants will receive a bag with writing supplies.

    Escribir no tiene que asustarnosEscribir es una forma de conocer mejor nuestras propias vidas y ayudar a nuestros hijos a aprender habilidades importantes. Talk It Out New counseling services a joint U of A and TUSD program

*TUSD students, parents, guardians, and immediate family members, Talk It Out is currently booked through December 2020.  When you submit a request, you will be placed on a waitlist for counseling services.  Talk It Out staff will contact you when they begin scheduling appointments for January 2021.
