Tucson Unified's newest state-of-the-art school offers academically rigorous learning opportunities through a project-based learning (PBL) approach, engaging students in a challenging and nurturing environment. Students will have the opportunity for dual-language mastery that will prepare them for full participation in a demanding college-preparatory high school and enable them to fulfill expectations for college completion and community leadership.
We are the
first New Tech Network school in Tucson and the
only one in Arizona!
We offer a dual-language strand in kindergarten through grade seven and project-based instruction incorporating science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM), and integrating the outcomes of agency, knowledge and thinking, oral communication, written communication, and collaboration across all content areas through the PBL model.
Students at McCorkle develop research skills and learn to think critically. They establish connections with the community and engage in authentic work that have relevant and meaningful outcomes. Collaborative learning and personalized instruction strengthen relationships and empower students and teachers to become skilled creators, communicators, and leaders.
