Announcements

  • 6th GRADE ORIENTATION

You are invited to attend our first annual 6th Grade Orientation on July 31, 2019 (Wednesday), 8:45am – 10:45am at the school.

    • Students will receive their schedule, if they do not have a copy of it, and follow a bell schedule that allows for 10 minutes in each class, including lunch. Though no food will be served and no assignments given, students will meet their teachers, become familiar with the locations of their classes, bathrooms, water fountains, expectations at lunch and between classes, while also meeting old and new friends.
    • Students should be dropped off at the Parent Pick-Up area on Beverly Street and enter the campus using the gate. Students will be dismissed to this area also. THERE ARE NO SCHOOL BUSES FOR THIS EVENT.
    • Parents are invited to meet in the Library with the Principal, School Community Liaison, Dean of Students, Counselor, and other teachers for small group discussions about parenting middle school students, student expectations, and ways to effectively work with the school to support student success, as well tours of the campus for those who want one. Space is a bit limited, so please try to limit attendance to parents only, and light refreshments will be served.
    • For our students in exceptional education self-contained classes, this is a perfect time to visit the classroom, meet the teacher, and begin the school year on a positive note.
