Choose your school through Open Enrollment and the Magnet School Program!

You can apply to have your child attend any district school through open enrollment. As long as there is room, your child will be accepted.

Our magnet schools offer classes in specific areas, such as fine and performing arts, science, math, technology, and more!

To learn more about what our schools have to offer, take a look through the Catalog of Schools. Once you've made your choices, come back to this page to complete your application.

Your child may be eligible for transportation.

Transportation is provided to magnet students who live within the TUSD boundaries, provided that the students meet the guidelines established in Board Policy EEA.

If you choose a school through Open Enrollment, your child may be eligible for Incentive Transportation. Complete the School Choice Calculator to see the schools for which free transportation would be available for your child.

We also offer free shuttle service to Drachman, Magee, and Sabino!

To email your application as an attachment...

  1. Save the application (in Word or PDF) to your computer.
  2. Complete the application, then save it again once you have completed it.
  3. Attach the application to an email message.
  4. Send the email message to scs@tusd1.org.

Notification of Receipt

Within 4-6 weeks of receiving your application, we will mail a postcard to your mailing address to let you know that we have received and processed your application. If you do not receive this notification within that time frame, please call us at (520) 225-6400 or email us at scs@tusd1.org.
