At Lineweaver, a positive attitude begins first thing in the morning. Our morning announcements recognize the positive and kind things our students do.

Excellence is the goal at the school, and teachers and students work hard to attain it. We are an Opening Minds through the Arts (OMA) school, which means visual and performing arts are integrated into the curriculum.

Lineweaver is one of a few Tucson Unified schools with a self-contained gifted program in first through fifth grades.

Lineweaver Elementary School, in partnership with parents and the community, will create a positive environment that fosters intellectual, social, emotional, physical and artistic growth for all students while developing their knowledge, skills and attitudes through quality teaching and a comprehensive education.
