    ·         FREE Afterschool Opportunities

     

    We offer FREE afterschool focused tutoring as well as Folklorico and Classical Guitar classes.

    We partner with the John Valenzuela Youth Center (JVYC) offering FREE afterschool extracurricular opportunities.

    The University of Arizona Wildcats offer FREE academic tutoring afterschool.


    ·         Student Led Projects

     

    Beyond the traditional academics, children at Ochoa learn by being active in their community.  Projects include the garden and chicken coop, recycling and initiatives to help the hungry.

    Our Student Council promotes school spirit and supports student growth through fun activities and fundraisers.

    Our SWAT team promotes nutrition and physical activities.   "What we put in our bodies helps nourish our minds."
