First Things First
Parents and families are a child’s first, and most important, teachers. First Things First is your partner in helping kids arrive at kindergarten healthy and ready to succeed. Through our signature programs Arizona parents and families can count on First Things First to provide reliable child development and health information, education and resources.

Nurse Family Partnership
Nurse-Family Partnership is a community healthcare program that will connect prenatal expecting parents (28 weeks or earlier) with a nurse home visitor. Through the visits, the parent will learn how to best care for her child. Nurse Family Partnership’s goal is to help parents become confident and assured in their parenting skills, so the parent and child can look forward to a better future.

Early Head Start
Early Head Start (EHS) promotes high-quality care for young children and provides access to comprehensive services and support that strengthen families. EHS provides comprehensive developmental services for children and social services for their families. Child-Parent Centers offers educational, social, medical, dental, nutritional, and mental health services, along with parent involvement activities for families. The program is designed to meet the needs of working families. We provide Head Start services as well as quality child-care. To be considered for this program the family/primary care giver must also
