How to Enroll Your Child

To enroll your child in your home school, stop by the school. (You can look up your attendance area school on Pima Association of Government's school-address look-up.) The checklists below list what you need to bring with you to enroll your child.

Is your child...?

New to the district?
If your child is enrolling in school for the first time or transferring from a non-TUSD school (even if he or she attended TUSD in the past), then see the New to District checklist.
Transferring to a new TUSD school?
If your child is transferring to another TUSD school during the current school year and already has a registration packet on file at the original school for the current school year, then complete the Transferring to a new school checklist.
Returning to the same school?
If your child is returning to the same school they attended the previous year, then you through ParentVUE. See the Online Registration for Continuing Students page for more information. (Don't want to register online? You can still use the Paper Registration Process for the 2018-2019 school year.)

Immunization Requirements

Consult the School Health Services web site for information on immunizations your child must have before starting school.

Age Requirements

Students must be 5 years of age before September 1 of the current school year for kindergarten and 6 years of age before September 1 to enter first grade. For more information about the required age for admission, read Board Policy JEB and Regulation JEB-R.

Finding Your Neighborhood School

To find your neighborhood school, use Pima Association of Government's School-Address Lookup. Call School Community Services at 225-6400 if you have questions.
