On November 19, 2020, the Arizona Department of Health issued an emergency measure requiring district and charter schools to immediately mandate that masks/face coverings are worn on school campuses, on school buses, and during school-associated activities by all students, faculty, staff, contractors, and visitors that are 2 years and older.
Tucson Unified is updating the TUSD Safety Requirements for COVID-19 regulation (EB-R2-T) to reflect the update. Effective immediately, anyone 2 years and older who is present on a Tucson Unified property are required to wear a face covering.
More information is available on the Arizona Department of Health web page regarding the mask requirement.
