PSAT Resources

The PSAT is just around the corner and the county Library the resources listed below to help students prepare.

Learning Express Library (LEL)

This resource includes tutorials with downloadable materials, timed practice exams, and helpful test taking tips for the PSAT. LEL helps individuals to further their career paths with a robust complement of College and Career Readiness tools. School Center focuses on K-12 skill-building and improvement in math and language arts, College Preparation Center focuses on 9-11 grade AP, PSAT, ACT, and SAT Exams, and College Center focuses on post-secondary education skill-building including practice exams for undergraduate (Accuplacer, Asset, Compass). Learning Express Library will also include updated information about the NEW SAT Exam starting in January.

Gale Testing & Education Reference Center

Gale Cengage Learning provides individuals with start-to-finish resources with all the information and support materials needed to make informed, confident decisions to shape your life. This resource includes over 300 practice tests and courses, dozens of ebooks and study materials, information about more than 4,000 schools, scholarships, resume builder, and career module that help you cover subjects from career change to salary negotiation. Testing & Education Reference Center has sections for High School, College Prep, Career, Grad School, and International tools. Each section includes official practice exams (PSAT, SAT, ACT, AP and more) and study materials for accurate and productive student learning.

The League of United Latin American Citizens (LULAC) National Educational Service Centers

A branch of the largest and oldest Hispanic organization in the U.S. LULAC offers multiple scholarships, including one specifically for business and engineering students. All scholarships require U.S. citizenship or permanent legal residency, as well as a minimum 3.25 GPA and minimum ACT/SAT scores.More
