How to Use This Page

This page contains a "menu" of lessons and activities for this week's learning at home. You will find the objectives: the specific skills that your child will be able to do. Then you will find a selection of lessons and activities which help your child master those skills. If you run into technical issues or other difficulties with any of these, simply move on and choose another. These activities fit into the Sample Dailly Schedule.

Please keep the following in mind:

  • Your child DOES NOT have to complete all activities listed for each subject.
  • Activities have been identified to give your child choice and variety.
  • Your child's teacher may suggest other activities more appropriate for your child.

Vocabulary

Sum: the total amount resulting from the addition of two or more numbers, amounts, or items.

Suma: El total que resulta de la suma de dos números.

Ones place, tens place:
units place in the number 716, the 6 is in the ones place
Units place in the number 716, the 1 is in the tens place.

Lugar de unidades, Lugar de decenas:

Number bond: a simple addition of two numbers that add up to give the sum.

Enlace numérico o vínculo numérico: La relación entre tres números que muestran el entero, parte, y parte de una suma.

Difference: a quantity by which amounts differ; the remainder left after subtraction of one value from another.
