Key Vocabulary / Formulas/ Things to Remember

Standard Form: Quadratic equations in the form of y = ax2+bx+c
Factored Form: Quadratic equations that have been factored. For Example: y=(2x−4)(x+3)
Vertex Form: Quadratic equations in the form of y=(x−h)2+k
Coefficients: a numerical or constant quantity placed before and multiplying the variable in an algebraic expression (e.g., the 5 in 5x).
Quadratic Formula:
x= −b±b2−4ac−−−−−−−√2a
