Then you will find a selection of lessons and activities which help you practice and master those skills. Multiplying Polynomials

Math Objectives: Students will be able to: 

  • Create new polynomial expressions by multiplying two other polynomials together.
  • Find a polynomial expression that represents an area of a rectangle with unknown sides given as expressions.

Key Vocabulary / Formulas

Polynomial: An expression made up of more than 3 terms being added or subtracted together.

Binomial: An expression made up of 2 terms being added or subtracted together.

Trinomial: An expression made up of 3 terms being added or subtracted together.

Like Terms: Terms that have the same variables with same exponents.

Ex. 2x2, 4x2
