What you need to know to return to campus

We are excited to have students return to campus on March 22nd. Below is information to help you prepare. Included are suggested School Supplies, School Bell Schedules, School Simultaneous teaching plans, Transportation information and Food Services information. If you have specific question, please contact your school office. We will continue to update this page as new information becomes available.


Please help your child bring the following items to school each day:

  • Mask or face covering
  • Personal water bottle that can be refilled at school with student name on it
  • TUSD or Personal Computer
  • Computer power chord
  • Computer headphones
  • Pencils, pens, eraser
  • Paper or notebook
  • Ruler
  • Hand sanitizer (personal size)
  • Backpack to carry all items in
  • Uniform (check with your school for requirements)
    The TUSD Clothing Bank has uniforms available if needed.
  • School ID Badge (this will be supplied by your school during the 1st week of return)

If you need assistance obtaining school supplies, please contact your nearest Family Resource Center or your school office for support.

Bell Schedules

Schedules will have been posted on each school site. (Please look for the Bell Schedule link at the top of the site, underneath the school's address and phone numbers.)

Simultaneous Teaching

Many schools will be offering classes where the teacher works with and teaches students that are in the classroom and learning remotely, at the same time. Check if your school offers simultaneous teaching.


TUSD posted tansportation information in your ParentVue account.

Please note:

  • Transportation will be provided to eligible Elementary School students 5-days-per-week
  • Transportation will be provided to eligible Middle and High School students Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday
  • Middle and High School Students using in-person learning spaces on Wednesdays will need to provide their own transportation or utilize Sun Tran bus services which are free through the month of June

Food Service

All school breakfast and lunch service are FREE through the end of the school year.

Weekly meal pick-ups will still be provided to registered families, go to Food Services for more details.
