The Oyama Elementary 5th Grade teachers support all learners in a variety of communities and from diverse cultures and backgrounds. We strongly believe that every child's education is a team effort where administrators, teachers, support staff, students and parents trust, support and respect one another. Through teamwork and the building of positive relationships, we create a fair, respectful and nurturing environment. Our grade level has a strong focus on Reading, Writing and Mathematics. We strive to enable students to experience success and maximize their potential as educated citizens. We feel that by doing this, our future leaders will be able to contribute to a changing society.
