FOSS Resources for Families

FOSS is the core curriculum for Science in TUSD for grades K-5.

FOSS has the following resources: 
  • Home/School Connection and Letters Home to Families are letters that help you understand what your student is learning and how to support them at home. 

  • Online Access: students have access through Clever to ThinkLink, the FOSS platform. ThinkLink gives your student access to their Science Reader, simulations, assignments, and the family resources listed above.

Virtual Zoo Field Trip
All TUSD K-2 students have access to Virtual Zoo Field Trip and IXL through their Clever account. 

Virtual Zoo Field Trip is an online, virtual, trip through the Reid Park Zoo. Your child can tour the zoo and hear different animal sounds.

The Exploratorium- Family Friendly Snacks 

Science Snacks are hands-on, teacher-tested activities that bring explorations of natural phenomena into the classroom and home. These Snacks are safe and easy to do with things around the house. They will amaze parents, grandparents and children alike!
