More Program Information about Grab-And-Go

Our Grab-And-Go Meals are free for all children 18 and under. We offer breakfast and lunch through Grab-And-Go Meal Bus Routes with 67 total stops. (See the route schedules and stops below.) The 12 bus routes are organized by region, serving the entire district. Whether your children go to a Tucson Unified school or just live in the community, they can eat free!

The schedule runs from 10 a.m. to 12 noon.

Breakfast and lunch on the Grab-And-Go bus routes during remote learning will continue to be provided cold/frozen to be heated up at home with heating instructions provided.

Parents/Guardians can pick up Grab-And-Go meals and will be asked to provide one of the following for meal pick-up to the TUSD Grab and Go employee:

  1. A student ID card, report card, or other school issued documentation with a child's name such as enrollment, class schedule, IEP etc.
  2. Show a video call home to show their children at home.
  3. For children not enrolled in school: documentation with a child's name and date of birth such as a medical document.
  4. If none of the above is available, staff will ask for the parent/guardian's name, child's name and school (or date of birth if not enrolled in school) which will be logged by staff.

*Staff providing the meals will not be collecting or touching any of the documents; they will just need to be shown the information.

For those students physically on site at schools, free breakfast and free lunch will be available at all schools.

Bus routes and schedules are subject to change, as they will be reviewed and adjusted as needed based on participation at the stops. Check back for updated schedules!
