Classes for Family and Community

On January 11, the Southwest Family Resource Center (FRC) held its first weekly Kids Art Class of the semester. The theme for the week was Martin Luther King, Jr. and students colored MLK Jr. pages, made Liberty Bells out of cups and pipe cleaners, made ice cream cones and more. The class is part of a new series of Student Enrichment courses that just started at each of the four Family Resource Centers.

We believe that stronger families make stronger students, and strong students will contribute to a stronger community overall.
