Health Services - Dental Care
The health of a child’s mouth affects the child's overall health and their ability to attend school. Students need to attend school to be successful. If your child is in need of dental care and you do not have insurance; or have insurance but need help finding a dentist, let us know.

The Pima County Health Department’s (PCHD) Oral Health Program proudly offers FREE preventive dental services.
Each participating child receives a status report to share with parents or guardians. If further care is needed, referrals are provided to ensure every child gets the support they deserve.
Services include:
- Oral health screenings to identify potential concerns early
- Fluoride varnish applications to strengthen teeth
- Dental sealants to protect molars and prevent cavities
Together, fluoride and sealants provide an extra layer of protection, helping children keep their adult molars healthy for life. The process is simple, quick, and completely noninvasive—all done conveniently at school.
