Heritage Day
The event, hosted by Tucson Educational Empowerment for Minorities, with help from Pima College and TUSD’s African American Student Services Department, provided students the opportunity to celebrate their culture, while also attending workshops and visiting with college representatives. The event is meant to showcase Black brilliance and excellence, while helping students learn how to achieve their dreams after high school.
