At the start of October, Mission View Elementary School was finally able to showcase the months-long renovations that took place on campus to the students, staff, and community. The celebration was made possible by the College Football Players Foundation and the Big 12 Conference.
The generous award, which is estimated at around $50,000, allowed the school’s cafeteria and auditorium to receive a magnificent makeover.
The new spaces now feature new furniture, vibrant graphics, and functional spaces that include a place where activities can flourish, area for board games that foster teamwork and fun, and a cozy reading nook and space for indoor physical education when outside play isn’t available.
The donation is sure to help keep the 102-year-old school modern and fresh for current and future students.
