TUSD Exceeds PSO Response Rate for 2025
Indicator 14 of the Annual Performance Report (APR) requires that public schools must collect, and the Arizona Department of Education Exceptional Student Services (ADE/ESS) must report, the percent of youths who are no longer in secondary school, who had IEPs in effect at the time of exiting school, and were enrolled in postsecondary education or training or employed within one year of leaving high school.
The Post‑School Outcomes (PSO) Surveys for 2025 are officially complete—and we’re celebrating a major win! Not only did TUSD meet the state’s ambitious participation target rate of 80%, we surpassed it with an impressive 81.2% response rate. Out of 361 eligible students, we successfully reached 293 former students or families, gathering meaningful insights into their lives one year after leaving high school.
This achievement reflects our district’s commitment to staying connected with our graduates and understanding their real‑world experiences. The information collected through PSO surveys is essential for strengthening our transition planning, refining supports, and ensuring every student is better prepared for life beyond high school. Thank you to everyone who played a role in this year’s success—your efforts directly contribute to improved outcomes for future graduates.
