Contact Exceptional Education

Effective communication is very important when questions or concerns arise regarding special education programs for students with disabilities.

If parents have questions about their child’s program, the first step is to address those with the Exceptional Education (Ex Ed) classroom teacher.
At the preschool, elementary, and middle school level, if concerns and questions are not resolved in a reasonable amount of time, parents should bring those to the attention of the school principal.
At the high school level, after speaking with the Ex Ed teacher, the next contact to resolve concerns is the Ex Ed department chairperson.
